Getting invited to your wedding is a big deal and I take it very seriously! I know that working with a planner inherently requires an immediate sense of trust, patience and reliability. That’s why our company philosophy is heavily centered in communication. The way my team and I work is all about interaction, collaboration and (simply put) having a great time!
Don’t get us wrong – event design is our love language. We’re fanatically organized, meticulously detail-oriented and really attracted to big ideas. We’re all over the hottest wedding trends, finding next-level inspiration and brainstorming “wow” moments as fine, rare and full of love as our couples. But, at the end of the day, honoring your story and your vision is top priority.
I take a great deal of pride in the area, and my extensive knowledge of vendors, accommodations, restaurants, and activities really allows me to showcase the best of this region to my clients and their guests. Plus, my multitude of connections makes just about anything possible – from second line jazz parades to bespoke wedding dresses to the perfect vintage convertible for your departure!
Nicole, the owner and lead planner at Wedding Connections, has been planning weddings for a long time. (Six years, to be exact.) All of the Wedding Connections planners have been trained using her strategies, philosophy and planning tools. That means we are extremely specialized in what we do. Not only do we come to the table with a vast catalogue of design ideas, recommendations and vendor connections, we really understand what goes into creating a unique, exquisite wedding that feels personal to the couple and runs seamlessly.
My philosophy on wedding planning is heavily centered in communication. From vendor selection to event styling, my goal is always to build an event that reflects the couples’ story and their best ideas. So much of what I do is based in relationship building, being a great listener and asking the right questions. I get to know my clients very well, which allows me to produce their vision as carefully and accurately as possible. I never charge hourly for communications within planning periods, and keep an open door phone and email policy to ensure that clients always feel welcome to ask questions and chat about ideas any time!
